With experience across finance, insurance, government, health IT, and HR consulting, she brings a deep understanding of how effective recruitment, psychometric assessment, and people systems shape organisational performance.

She previously worked for NZ Customs (7+ years) where she designed high‑volume and specialist selection systems for Customs Officers — including dog handlers, intelligence roles, and investigations — and led a high‑performing recruitment team. Her work strengthened capability, improved consistency, and supported fair, defensible hiring decisions across the organisation.

Lynne is known for her human‑centred approach to change. She is an experienced coach, mentor, and facilitator, and is widely recognised across government for her interview‑coaching workshops. What others say...

Our group of companies including  Infield International, Glasshouse Consulting and Market Metrics Data Collection have utilised Lynne Allison's HR expertise for almost 14 years. During this time, she has become an extension of our business providing the hands-on experience we were sorely lacking. In our industry where we employ dozens of casual workers, some regular and some irregular, Lynne helped us navigate the various contracts we needed to protect our workers and the company. When we needed advice on how to handle difficult employees or to restructure our business, Lynne provided the clarity for Managers to follow the correct process. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lynne to any other businesses.

Lynne is a leader of change. She has expertise in individual, team and organisational development/design. She is a true professional in leading change - through the application of IO Psychology to solve real world business problems. We noted her significantly enhance recruitment journeys, from consulting key stakeholders, designing innovative and fair processes, through to delivering measurable business outcomes. Perhaps the best example has been her ability to implement a selection process for NZ Customs that doubled the Assessment Centre pass rate ensuring increased on the job performance, coupled with a fair and ethnically diverse selection process.

Lynne provided expert HR mediation and support during a recent redundancy process I found myself unfortunately faced with. During early conversations she showed empathy and genuine concern, helping ease undue stress as we navigated through the challenging process. Her ability to listen to my concerns and provide constructive feedback were handled sensitively, fairly, and professionally - whilst offering clear advice direction for next steps.
Having Lynne involved during this process helped maintain clarity and trust - ensuring a level of professionalism between both parties.  Lynne handled all sensitive discussions on my behalf - achieving great results, mitigating the difficult process I was faced with. Lynne's knowledge of HR and relevant legislation is exceptional, as was her communication throughout the entire process.
Knowing I was in safe hands, meant I was able to trust her with my concerns - with open discussions and honest feedback.
I would strongly recommend Lynne for any HR or employment matters as her breadth of
experience and supportive, personable nature were key elements I highly regarded during our interaction. I personally, would like to thank Lynne for her time and support during my employment process and for the outcome she was able to achieve for me.
